Richard Brock


Richard Brock is a seasoned legal search consultant, attorney career coach and former practicing lawyer. He has founded several businesses which operate in the legal industry including two attorney recruiting companies. He has worked with dozens of law firms and corporate legal departments and hundreds of attorneys across the country. His experience and expertise covers legal talent acquisition, strategic growth initiatives, lateral attorney placements and law firm mergers. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and Washington & Lee University. Brock’s companies have received numerous awards and recognition for success and growth, including Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000 Awards for fastest growing companies in America.

Brad Hawley

Executive Director

Brad Hawley has worked in the legal industry for 15 years.  A partner with OnBoard Search, he is accountable for the development and management of OnBoard’s national client roster.  Prior to his time at OnBoard, he consulted global law firms on individual practice management.  In addition, he spent time with a regional recruiting firm where he oversaw the client development and recruiting for one of its three business units.  This combined experience has enabled Brad to understand how a more efficient and effective lateral hiring strategy can propel a law firm’s growth and profitability. Brad earned a degree in International Business (2000) and MBA (2013) from Auburn University.  He is married with two children.  In his spare time, he likes to mountain bike, spend time outdoors, and play golf.  


Matt Bragiel

Senior Director

Matt has worked in the legal industry for nearly a decade, advising lawyers and law firms in a variety of areas including, recruiting & staffing, strategic planning, business development, marketing strategy, and lateral integration.  Matt’s mission is to help OnBoard’s clients grow strategically in new and existing markets. Prior to working in the legal industry, Matt served as a sales representative for both a global pharmaceutical manufacturer and a multinational company providing energy and sustainability solutions. Matt earned his B.B.A. from Texas Christian University (TCU), and his M.B.A. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

DeLene Stutts

Talent Leverage Strategist

DeLene has been in the recruiting business for over 15 years and has been highly successful in recruiting for a wide range of industries. For more than 10 years, her focus has been on legal recruiting. She has successfully recruited both partner-level and associate-level attorneys for a variety of positions for large firms, smaller firms and in-house legal departments. Before concentrating her efforts on recruiting lawyers, her industry experience included insurance, accounting, banking and finance, HR, IT, and more. DeLene serves her clients by utilizing a combination of research skills, business contacts, and an extensive personal network to achieve the hiring needs of her client firms and companies. DeLene’s clients have ranged from small privately held firms to Fortune 1000 businesses.


Janet Eyster

Talent Scout

Janet has years of experience counseling career transitions for executives in the C-Suite and for attorneys. As a service-oriented professional, she invests in the individual and appropriately provides career best practices garnered through years in the recruiting industry. Prior to working with OnBoard, Janet honed her communication and career management skills working with a retained executive search firm. She now utilizes those same skills in serving law firm clients and attorney lateral candidates. Janet earned her degree from the University of Florida and began her career as a sales executive in the pharmaceutical and technology industries.

Lindsey Mobley

Talent Scout

Lindsey brings to OnBoard over 15 years of experience in communications and client management. She earned her degree in marketing from the University of Mississippi and started her career in advertising.  She eventually expanded her career path into merchandising and marketing.  Her focus over the years has been on project management which is how she approaches her work as a Talent Scout and Client Liaison. Each search is its own project, and Lindsey’s approach results in successful placements of individual lawyers and groups.  By understanding the growth objectives and strategies of her clients, Lindsey has established strong relationships resulting in successful deliveries of specific solutions.

Lucy specializes in helping organizations find the right long-term players for their organizations. She listens to individuals and understands their strengths and goals in order to facilitate the advancement of their careers in the right unique direction. She has been delivering talent in the executive search business to clients for 7 years in the legal, education, accounting & finance, and healthcare sectors. At Vanderbilt, she first found her love for the psychology of business through her major, Human & Organizational Development. Prior to search, she worked within a large corporation in their career development office to coordinate their leadership development program and assist with business development.

Rachel Donald

Talent Scout

Rachel brings to the OnBoard team over 10 years of operational experience and a keen understanding of what drives employee satisfaction.  As an operations manager in the healthcare software space, she developed her expertise in managing the details of nation-wide software rollouts. She frequently identified pain points and developed solutions for both clinicians at the local level and also executives at the corporate level.  She received a degree in Political Science from the University of Mississippi with a minor in Psychology.  Rachel’s education prepared her to understand how people form certain opinions, what drives their decision-making, and how to communicate most effectively.


Mandy Wideman

Research & Marketing Coordinator

Mandy serves as the Research & Marketing Coordinator for the OnBoard Search Team. She utilizes her 10+ years of experience in advertising, marketing and project management to aide her colleagues in the candidate search and recruitment process. Mandy works closely and collaboratively with the team to ensure effective results from her meticulous research of the legal industry across the United States. Also, her advertising agency background is essential in developing OnBoard Search’s ongoing marketing campaign and strategy. Mandy has a marketing degree from Auburn University’s School of Business.
